I recently attended an adult education conference where the topic of Common Core Standards generated a lot of discussion. Hashtags for Adult Educators

Do you ever feel like Donkey in the first Shrek movie, wanting to yell, "Pick me! Pick me!" when it comes to being an included adult educator or adult education advocate on Twitter? I know I do. Just in the last few days, I've seen several blogs and articles with titles such as The 20 Hottest Hashtags for Teachers on Twitter, Educational Hashtags on Twitter and - one of the most recent - 300+ Educational Twitter Hashtags Being Used Right Now.

Wouldn't you think that in a list of over 300 hashtags, there would be at least one for adult educators? Sadly, not the case. Ditto for the 20 Hottest Hashtags and Educational Hashtags articles.

So, instead of wasting energy fussing about this, I decided to put together my own list of Helpful Hashtags for Adult Educators. Here are my top seven hashtag picks (and the ones I use on a daily or almost daily basis) for useful and relevant information for teachers and administrators in the adult education field:
